We advocate for policy change at European, national and regional levels to empower community-led initiatives on climate change and sustainability. Through co-creation, we collaborate with diverse groups to develop impactful policy recommendations and build awareness of EU policy processes among our members.
Food systems are at the heart of community innovation, from how we grow and distribute food to how we handle waste. ECOLISE has launched a policy positioning process on Just and Sustainable Food Systems, rooted in the stories and experiences of community-led initiatives. With the European Commission preparing its vision for agriculture and food by February 2025, now is the time to ensure grassroots initiatives play a central role.
