Chiara Marchionni

Regenerative Communities Fund Project Officer
Circles: Projects

Currently living in Barcelona but hailing from a tiny Italian village nestled between the Apennines and the Adriatic, Chiara has always had one foot in the hills and the other pointed toward the horizon. Her curiosity took her from studying Chinese language and culture to navigating the complex world of international relations, and now to a MSc in Urban Resilience for Sustainability Transitions. Her previous internships — one with a network of NGOs in the Philippines, the other alongside EU institutions in Brussels— shaped her commitment to bridging grassroots action with policy level: whether it’s climate resilience or community empowerment, Chiara is passionate about connecting the dots between local realities and global decisions. Now bringing her enthusiasm at ECOLISE, contributing as an intern to the Funding Fairer Futures (FFF) – Regenerative Communities Fund (RCF) project.
