TALE - Transformative Adult Learning for Green Transition

2022 - 2024

In the Tale Erasmus+ project, adult learning education (ALE) organizations engage with learners, communities, and sustainable grassroots initiatives to co-create transformative learning processes and provide insights to scale out such prototypes into the wider field.

The partners run innovation groups using transformative learning approaches in cooperation with sustainable grassroots initiatives in six European countries: Finland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Greece and Switzerland. The goal is to establish mutually beneficial cooperation, apply participatory methods, learn together and build capacities to further green transition in ALE organizations and communities.

Therefore, Tale helps education organizations to find new ways to work with learners and communities, take action, and adopt sustainable practices. The project produces knowledge, events, experiences, methods, and recommendations on how to use transformative learning for a green transition and help upscale the innovative practices of the grassroots initiatives.

ECOLISE’ contribution to Tale is coordinated by Laura Kaestele, as part of the Enable domain.
